Fire
Island
This remote island can be reached only by ferry. Often turning
up on lists as one of the top-10 island getaways, Fire Island
offers New Yorkers an amazing opportunity to escape the mayhem

Jones Beach State Park
Summer concerts at Jones Beach draw crowds from all over.
Listen to some of today's greatest musicians live while watching
the surf crash against the shore in the background. All within

Long Beach
A popular summer destination for many, the free parking and
great deals in the area are quite a draw. A small, but good
boardwalk (at times will have art fairs) and a great atmosphere
make Long Beach the summer beach destination of choice. Atlantic

has a package deal with a round-trip train ticket and beach
pass for $12.
Main Beach
Not only is this one of the nicest beaches in the Hamptons,
it's also one of the nicest beaches in the country. Clean
waters, a huge wide shore that's perfect for lounging in the
sunshine, and a great summer crowd make East Hampton's Main

Manhattan Beach
One of New York's most popular beaches, Manhattan Beach is
just a short step away from the city proper. The amazing views
of Breezy Point that are visible from the promenade as well
as the variety of activities available to sun-worshipers are
what keep New Yorkers heading back to Manhattan Beach throughout

Rockaway Beack & Boardwalk
Head to Rockaway Beach & Boardwalk to enjoy the activities
of the Summer Fun series of events that start in June or simply
to bask in the warm sunshine baking on the white sands of
the second longest municipal beach in America. This magnificent
beach boasts the second longest boardwalk (Atlantic City is

Sandy Hook Beach
Did somebody say clothing optional? That's right!
Sandy Hook is a legal nude beach within an hour ferry ride
from Manhattan. Say good-bye to tan lines and hello to Sandy

Ferry with service from Midtown direct to Sandy Hook.
South & Midland Beaches
Located near each other, both South & Midland beaches
provide great views of lower New York. Enjoy free concerts
and fireworks at South Beach, meander along the 4th largest
boardwalk in the world (at 7500 feet long), and sun-bathe
